The Anime Syracuse convention
is being organized and led by:
Wayne
Chase and Pat
Maloney are the founders of Flying
Turtle Toys in North Syracuse, a hobby store that carries
a full line of comics, graphic novels, imported toys from
Japan, domestic TV and movie-character toys, Central New
York’s widest selection of Hello Kitty and other Sanrio
character items, import DVDs and related products.
Jeff
Couto is the founder of Japan
Hero one of the world’s leading websites for information
on Japanese live action hero TV shows such as Toei's Super
Sentai and Kamen Rider TV series, Tsuburaya's long running
Ultraman series as well as vintage and modern anime shows,
movies and OVA's.
In addition to the Anime
Syracuse comvention this organizing committee is also
behind the Tokyo
Attack Japanese Film
Festival series that focuses on bringing the iconic figures
of Japanese science fiction and cinema to Central New York.
